Sta. Cruzan
I woke up at 12pm. At 12:30pm, I received a text message stating "We have to go to the studio at 2pm. Bring something for the hair and sandals." from Chowie. I was like "WHAT?!?! WHY?!?!?" After all, dance recital was over with last week. Chowie didn't know why as well. So anyways I just went along with it.
By 2pm...I arrived at the studio. There was like no one there. Luckily, Tito Val saw me and told me to go up to the 3rd floor. So I went there and saw Shannah in a gown and Tita Boging sewing something on the gown. That was when Tita told me that me and my barkada shall join Sta. Cruzan @_@
What is Sta. Cruzan? Sta. Cruzan is a Filipino Tradition. Celebrated in May, Santa Cruzan is a procession that symbolizes a saint's search and eventual discovery of the cross used in Jesus Christ's crucifixion. Young women, sagalas, are dressed in beautiful gowns and are escorted by young men who wear the traditional men's barong. The parade aroung town and eventually congregate in the church.
Anyways, I fitted gowns 3 times. Tita Boging has lotsa gowns!!! She told me. "You know what's your problem? You have large boobs!!!" I was like "Tita, I'm gifted." BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Besides, I know women with larger boobs @_@. Then Tita was like "Where are the other magic 5?" I was confused by what she meant by that. It seems she baptized my barkada with the name of Magic 5 since the 5 of us were always together, hehehhee ^_^;;. When the 5 of us were complete and fitted with gowns, Tita gave us her make-up kit and told us to beautify ourselves.
Since it was all impromptu, we didn't have any escorts. How sad....BWAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!! jokez ^_^ But I was really hoping to see Fafa Wuffy @_@. He wasn't there but that didn't ruin my happy mood and day ^_^. It wasn't just Magic 5, soem of the Sandiego dancers were a part of it too like Ate Shannah, Moe, Andy and Bianca. ^_^ Oops...let's not forget the most special one...Tara's Mother!!!
During the procession, I stepped on the skirt 6 times!!! @_@ but I didn't fall or anything. Whew! Luckily, someone helped me. He pinned the gown so it would be kinda shorter and I didn't trip since then ^_^;; There was also some sorta accident. There was a "runaway fireworks". We were all scrambled and Biance ran faaaaaar awaaaaaay!!! She held her skirt so high that you can see the pants she was wearing underneath and with high heels, she ran sooo faaaast away from the fireworks. lolz. It was a funny sight. She looked like a cartoon character. Heheheh.
After the procession, we had dinner at the studio. There was a weird yet funny conversation going on. Though we didn't have escorts, there were still guys. Anyways, Julian asked some about RN and...
Casey: He's gay.
Julian: If he's gay then why is he so kiat?(erm..not sure..naughty I suppose?)
Casey: Maybe he likes you.
Magic 5: Uuuuuuy!!!
BWAHAHAHAHHAH!!! And here's another conversation...
Julian: Carlo, which do you prefer? The most beautiful gay or the ugliest girl?
Carlo:...girl.
Julian: Me too. I'll choose a girl no matter how ugly she would look. What about you, Joel?
Joel:...
Carlo: He'll choose the gay.
BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Something kinda dramatic happened after that. Patrick showed Tina's mom a picture of Tina with her boyfriend. That good thing was that he was only able to shot their backs. Uh oh...I hope Tina would be fine and would be able to make up a quick excuse when her mother questions her @_@.
I got fetched. Mom and Aladdin didn't have dinner yet so we went to a restaurant: Sideline. I ate again. Oh no...the pounds I lost were gained again @_@. Though, I only ate a little and had Aladdine take the rest of my rice. lolz
Oh yeah...I almost forgot to mention that Magic 5 were drinking again...lotsa lotsa softdrinks!!! Yeah, we're so high right now @_@ I am so full of energy. I don't think I'll sleep anytime soon. 'Til here...^_^ Look at some pics...
