Beck Ep. 24

WOOOOOOOO!!!! Episode 24 of Beck is awesome!!!! Well, that's because it's the start of their live at Greatful Sounds, which is actually a big thing!!! I really wanna cheer and scream my lungs out together with the crowd for Beck!!! There's was a glimpse of Chiba's past, he was actually much more handsome back then!!! Geez, he shouldn't have let his hair grow or curl for that matter ;;>.> Come to think of it, his past look kinda reminds me of some other anime character. To top it all off, Taira took off his shirt and threw it to the crowd *drool*. I wish I could have it *pout*. If only anime were real....if it were, lotsa impossible things would be possible, wouldn't it? lolz Anyways, back to Beck. I started watching it last Sunday and immediately got addicted to it.

Summary: (from animenewsnetwork):
Tanaka Yukio, better known by his nickname Koyuki is a 14 year old who feels disconnected from life in general. Through the act of saving a mismatched dog, he meets guitarist Minami Ryuusuke, and becomes involved in Ryuusuke's new band BECK. Koyuki's life starts to change as the band struggles towards fame.

Sounds too ordinary? Well, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad is actually derived from a manga, which won the 2002 Kodansha Manga Award for Shonen. But you know, the advantage of anime is that you can hear the music, the songs...REALLY COOL SOUNDS!!! Lotsa guitar playing, since the main character practices a lot!!! ^_^ There's also a nice interactive of English and Japanese since there are some foreigner characters and well, even some of those Japanese characters could speak in English. Heck, even the songs arei n English!!! Wheeeee!!! Not all songs but most of it!!! The OP and ED songs of the anime are also in English so we could easily sing along with it. Wheeeeee!!!

I'm really addicted to it. After this anime, I won't be watching any for a while because midterms are near. Besides, I can't really get over right away with an anime show that I love so much!!!! The anime is great which makes me which it oculd have been more than just 26 episodes. Heh, lotsa anime shows end up with 26th or 12th episode, don't they? But I also which I could buy the mangas but it can be so expensive. Unlike watching the anime, you only have to pay for the internet bill, which isn't really much if compared to just buying one manga.

Back to Episode 24 of Beck....*spoiler spoiler* you know, they have the 3rd stage which just has 500 people. The main stage got 1,200 and I forgot how much the 2nd stage was but definitely more than just 500...I think it was 1000. Anyways, Ryuusuke actually made a bet with someone and he would win that bet if they would come up with lotsa people/ audience/ crowd. However, all of the members of Beck thought that they probably wouldn't win against the bet and that this would be the last Live that they would be playing together and after that, they would disband. That thought made me sad just like the rest of them. But also because of that thought, they gave it all their best for their last Live. It was a rainy weather. The rain was a blessing in disguise because it messed up the sound system of the main stage. While at the 2nd stage, the crowd consist mostly of girls...FANFATIC at that...and so they just kept on pushing and pushing so the people at the front were getting injured and that. So the show at the 2nd stage were getting interrupted from time to time. Because of people weren't satisfied with the other two performances, little by little they started to gather at the third stage. The 500 people/ audience of Beck became 1000 plus!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!! Beck probably don't know or haven't noticed it but they actually have a chance to win that bet!!! Near the end of the episode, it was said: main stage - 1,4000 2nd stage - 7,000 3rd stage(Beck) - 1, 4000!!!! WOHOO!!! They definitely caught up!!!! Then...Omigosh!! it became 2 ,000!!!
